Ukazoo Books is located at 730 Dulaney Valley Road in Towson, Maryland. We are open Monday through Thursday from 9am–9pm, Friday and Saturday from 9am–10pm, and Sunday from 11am–8pm. If you have a question that is not answered below, please contact us, and we’ll do our best to answer your question.

Ukazoo Books opened its doors on June 18th, 2007.
Please bring in any books you wish to sell. We accept all types of books, ranging from paperback to hardcover, children's books to textbooks. All books are entered into our proprietary computer software that calculates which titles we can use and how much we can offer. Our offer is based on the book's condition, how many copies of each title we already have in stock, and how popular each title is. All books must be evaluated in-store; we cannot evaluate books via phone or email. We offer cash or store credit. You may bring in your books any time during our business hours, although orders in excess of 50 books may take 24–48 hours to process.
We have over 100,000 titles, in just about every category you can think of, including fiction and non-fiction, ranging from business management to military history to poetry and drama. We have particularly strong biography, religion, romance, and mystery/thriller sections.
We stock multiple copies of many books. If you need more copies than you see on our shelves, our trained staff will be happy to track down more copies for you.
Our bookstore is organized by subject matter and alphabetically by author. We also have a computer inventory of all of our books, so if need help finding a book, we can tell you exactly where it's located.
Our used books are in great condition. Each book is examined prior to shelving to ensure it is Clean and Tight. All books are guaranteed to be Clean with little or no underlining, highlighting or coloring, and Tight with no loose pages or torn bindings.
All merchandise (with the exception of artwork) can be returned with receipt for store credit within 10 days of the date of purchase. We reserve the right to limit or decline refunds. Gift cards cannot be returned for cash.
Our in-store books can only be purchased in-store. Though we do not currently sell books online through our website, we will be offering books on ukazoo.com within the next few months. Our website will contain over 1 million unique titles in stock for immediate shipment. Our used books are competitively priced, and are often significantly less than half the publisher's list price. Our books are even less expensive than those available for $0.01 online, once you take shipping into account. And with the exception of our New York Times Bestsellers, every book in the store is under $10.
We have trained acquisitions personnel on staff to help you track down any book you are looking for. We have a large inventory of books in our warehouses. In-stock warehouse books are usually available in 1–2 weeks. Books that are not in our warehouse stock can be special ordered for you, and are usually available in 2–3 weeks. You can pick books up in-store or have them shipped directly to you.

We will be distributing an e-newsletter every other month, which keep you up-to-date on store offerings and new titles. It will also contain Ukazoo staff book reviews and special newsletter-only promotions. To sign up for our newsletter, please send us an email using our Contact form.
We carry a variety of book-related products. Children and adults love our Peacable Kingdom posters, and we also feature a selection of magazines, Divine chocolates, hand-crafted journals and sketchbooks by local artists, Stash Tea gift sets, unique bookends, literary action figures, and Rio Grande games!
We will have a rewards program to benefit frequent Ukazoo customers. Be sure to ask our staff or check our newsletters and website for more information on our rewards program as it becomes available.
We offer a 10% discount to public and private teachers, librarians, and active military personnel. To receive the discount when you purchase your books, please have your ID and teacher verification (i.e. id card/badge).

You are welcome to use one of our computer kiosks located throughout the store to search for your favorite books. If you can't find what you are looking for and are interested in a specific title, please call us and we will be happy to check our inventory for you.
